After 7 years of various forms of inadequate rural internet, I have mounted my dish on on an outbuilding, run 60 meters of ethernet through the barn to an Eero in my wife’s business and put another Eero in an upstairs window of the house to bring the signal across the courtyard. 200Mbs might not be much to most but it’s night and day for us and all it took was a few hundred pounds worth of gear, some sweat and the death of some of my soul as I give money to Elon Musk each month.
